Bodrum - Dodecanese Greek Islands (South) - Bodrum

As Flama Tours, we are specialising not only for the cruises for Turkish Coast but also cruising the Dodecanese Greek Islands. Dodecanese is a group of islands in south-eastern Greece in the Aegean Sea. Its name means ''12 (dodeca) islands''.

Amongst these islands, the most important ones are Rhodes and Kos. The other inhabited islands are Samos, Fourni, Patmos, Arki, Lipsi, Leros, Kalymnos, Pserimos, Nisyros, Tilos, Halki, Symi and Kasteloriso (Megisti). With destinations including Rhodes, Kos and other Dodecanese islands, you will be spoiled for choice.

Nowadays, Rhodes and Kos are the most popular and cosmopolitan islands in the Mediterranean. If you are interested in ancient history, then why not check out the medieval Old Town of Rhodes. Nisyros, Tilos and Halki are still kept away from the massive tourism, retaining their traditional character.

Simply take in the breath-taking views from the volcanic upheaval of Nisyros. You will have the opportunity to visit the quiet and traditional village of Tilos, which has remained untouched by tourism. Symi is a picturesque small island which becomes popular.

These quaint and undiscovered islands provide a stress free environment for those who want to escape from the masses and take in the picturesque views of clean waters and rugged mountains on the small beaches nestled in quiet coves.

You can plan a trip to the Dodecanese Greek islands, starting in Bodrum, providing you do the custom clearance when leaving and re-entering the country. We will provide you with all the necessary information.

Our suggested route would be :
  • Bodrum
  • Kos
  • Nisyros
  • Tilos

This is a general rough itinerary. We do also organise such cruises combining both Turkish Coast and the Greek Islands which combines a great route providing a good variety of historical sites, naturally beautiful bays and two different culture by visiting coastal town and small picturesque villages. There are many other possible itineraries sailing along the Turkish Riviera and also venture out to the beautiful Greek Islands. An itinerary which would be more suitable for your expectations can be decided together.
